Toyota FJ40 is one of the most classic models in the history of Toyota off-road vehicles. In 1984, FJ40 was very common in foreign countries. It has been 39 years since 1984 to today. At that time, many people suggested that if we want to develop it, we should develop it with the original flavor. Regarding the upgrade of FJ40, we considered that if it were to be launched domestically, it would be necessary to meet the national VI b emission standards. So in this state, we can only choose a 2.3T four cylinder engine. For the FJ40, its complete vehicle weight configuration is about 1.8 tons, equipped with a 160 horsepower, 380 Nm engine, which is already in an excellent state. In addition, for exports, we are considering accepting a state of private customization. You choose the engine and we will configure it.
The main beam of the entire car is completely self-developed by us. We didn't innovate on the original, we copied it, we copied the girders of the FJ79, and without tooling fixtures, we manually assembled a beam of FJ79, but shortened its wheelbase. This means that this beam is a brand new beam that is temporarily used in conjunction with FJ40, but can be adjusted in the future. We use the front and rear axles of Touareg, but this car is not. This car currently uses the front and rear axles of Toyota's LC80. That is to say, the standard configuration of our future beam is the front spring and the back five connecting rods. It meets both off-road performance and comfort requirements. As we all know, the FJ79 has a steel plate suspension at the back, which makes it uncomfortable. In order to improve its comfort, we have changed the rear suspension to a five link system.
Today, 39 years after Toyota's FJ40 was discontinued, we are creating a brand new FJ40, which is in a state of high configuration and may become a popular product in the future. Take a look at the size of the tires and the configuration of our engine gearbox. This engine is equipped with a 2UC 4.7 displacement manual transmission. That is to say, when our product is launched on the market, we can accept any personal customization from you.
